Easy question
I'm a new Telstar owner, and unless I'm just missing this in the owners manual, what becomes of the C frame once the mast is raised? If I will not be lowering the mast for 6 months, should I just remove it? And could D frame be removed as well, or is it still supporting the mast? And lastly, are those two bolts at the bottom of the mast the only thing holding the base in its place?

Re: Easy question
If you are not planning on lowering the mast for an extended period, the only "frames" that must be up are the two acting as the lower shrouds - labeled as A and B. C and D could be removed. I've done that several times in the last 11 years. But, remember, if you have to drop the mast at any time while you are at sea - you will NOT be able to do it.
