started to work slowly on the boat...will make a topic for this rebuild :)
now i need some help for remaking the spreaders , i don't have them at all . i have the supports on the mast though 40mm interior so i have bought aluminium pipe OD 40mm... can any one tell me how long is one spreader for the 26" mk2 telstar ? how about a picture from the outer tip of them ?
from my calculation should be around 90cm long or 35". is this right ?

thanks

On "Trina", the shroud passes through a notch in a plastic fitting that goes in the end of the spreaders. It has a metal clip in it which stops them coming out.

I put a small SS bulldog clip on the rigging wire under the spreader to keep it at the right angle.

I have no idea where I would be able to buy a replacement!

If I find a helpful photo, I'll post it.

My spreaders are 36" tubes with a 3/4" cap.

The shrouds fit into the end caps. They're held in with stainless wire. Boots cover.
