Joe,
Yep. That was me. Would have liked to follow you home for a chat, but we were on a mission.
My wife, who is not a sailor, was determined to spend a night with me on board and visit the Isle of Wight.
The plan was to sail to Cowes and stay the night in a marina (something I try and avoid) and dine ashore.
The ebb was already flowing into the SW wind so I was keen to keep going. Even so it was a little lively leaving the entrance.
We had just past the Portsmouth Dolphin and I could see Chris was not happy, so we diverted into Gosport for the night.
As we walked into Gunwharf Quays past the station Chris asked if the trains went to Horsham (our home town) and I could see the brain doing some thinking.
However she stuck it out and sailed back to Chichester the next day.
I don't think she is up for any more harbour hopping with me.
That said, she is coming with me tomorrow (sun) as I have promised a day out for my-step daughter and eight friends.
I shall also be on the water on Tues as I have promised to show the boat to a friend.
Questions. Has your stern extension improved performance? Is that a fully battened mainsail you have?
Cheers
Jon.

The stern extension is very successful. Have a peak at the main thread on it and also on the HUSH thread. Yup its a fully battened mainsail from I think 2004. I'm just about to go to the boat to fit a new stackpack to the boom. By the way, I have the original boom and mainsail in very good condition should anyone want to buy them. I might put it them on ebay. Cheers. Joe
