Mast up/down for winter?

Hauling out time. What's the consensus on leaving the mast up?

I see nothing wrong with leaving the mast up as long as you are not hauling it under electrical lines. It is so easy to lower the mast, that I don't see the need personally.

Halifax is way up north from Texas though. Our is stored in the barn with mast down here in Indiana.
