Looks like I need a new main sail. Tried calling Bierig at 814-459-8001 and got a generic auto greeting (no name). Does anyone know if Bierig is still operating and/or have other sail company recommendations? TIA

Answer: As of this date, yes. Spoke to David Bierig and he will be making a new mainsail for us. He has been at this since 1964...

I ordered a main from Precision, cut to eliminate overlap with backstay.

Good luck with it. Please let us know what kind of impact that has on performance. My guess is that the additional area of the roach provides more power.
