International Telstar Owners Association

Can anyone give me an idea on how much weight the Telstar 28 can carry? I am a horrible pack rat that will take as much as I can with me and obviously the Telstar is sensitive to weight.

I am hoping to have the capability to sail from Florida to the Bahamas and want to do so safely. How does this boat handle heavy seas?

Just bought my Telstar and looking for any advice you may have....its all new to me!!

Thanks Michel, looks like lots of interesting reading there! Do you bring your boat south as well or sail in Canada? Have you did any customizing on your boat?
