First sail of the year

Reboot is back in the water. After a longer time on the hard than I wanted, she is back floating. We got her back to the slip last Thursday, worked most the day Saturday getting things back to working order, then had a shake down sail Sunday. The photo above is from Friday morning after we had a few inches of snow over the night.

Friday was cold, I worked on getting the boom and sails installed Saturday, and went for a sail Sunday. Sunday was clear at 35 degrees with a nice 12 knt wind. Now Ron can chime in and tell us about the warm front in Florida.
I find the winter to have some of the best sailing on the Chesapeake. I can sail for hours and never see a power boat. Just dress right and keep the coffee on the burnner.
