Hi geoffrey - yes, I agree with your thoughts. The suction pads seem like a great idea. The gulf stream just clips us here and the water is seldom very cold so I might try that. Cheers.

Joe,
Good luck with cleaning the slime off the hulls. If you are able to do it and without too much trouble it will be well worth it. I am confident that you will be pleasantly surprised by the increase in performance. I just hope that when you do go over the side that the gulf stream has not carried oil up your way from the famous BP Oil Spill!
