actual weights?

Talking about the boats in general, that don't fit in the other categories.

actual weights?

Post by brian-up-north »

Hi
As anyone taken their Telstar 28 and and trailer to a weigh scale and actually measured the real weight?
If so what did you get?
Thanks
Brian

My post was accurate. At 6600 pounds, It's a lot heavier (boat and trailer) than advertised. But just about every other boat in the world is the same.

First thing after delivery in 2018 was to put our T28 on a truck scale - 6900lb with all the batteries, sails, etc. They do not get any lighter with age.

Did that include the captain and first mate?

No, but the presence of the captain would hardly make any difference, much less the first mate:)
