I'm bumping this question. Anybody drill a hole in the base of the bow pulpit and run wires through the stainless tube? If not, anybody use some conduit?

With the pulpit off the boat I drilled a Hole in the right rear base plate and a corresponding hole in the deck. At the front of the pulpit I drilled a hole on bottom of the tube. Pulled wire through the tube and bolted the pulpit back down. No wire shows except for a small amount at the front where it goes into the bow light.

Andre,

I like your wire routing method. Thanks for the tip.

Some more questions:

What brand of navigation light and mount did you use?
Did you use red and green LEDs in the light and if so what brand?

Thanks
Geoffrey

Thanks Andre, that's what I was thinking about doing. It looked like the stainless tubing was hollow all the way thru but I wanted to make sure somebody has done it before.

Tri-color masthead/anchor light works for me. LED version makes it even better.

Haven't tried it yet, but you should be able to attach photo's or other things now. Photobucket and other photo sites were only a method of getting around the problem of no more space left. it should work now.

If there is a picture of Tri-Power below, then it works.
