How old was this boat? I have no idea what the resale value of recent models is, but the admiral and I have talked that if we decided to move on to another boat for longer range cruising, we would likely put ours up around $80,000 (2009 model and trailer with 20 HP, fresh water only).

Gel coat problems are easily fixed, but rebuilding the amas would be a major undertaking. I haven't heard of anyone needing to do that. It would be interesting to hear from those with older boats how well they are holding up.
