I have Reboot down at the PCI docks right now and spent some time talking with Tony this weekend. Boy, his boat "The Telstar" is pimped out. Here are jsut a few items that I remember
1. 26 gal built in gas tank
2. 20 gal propane tank up forward for cabin and water heater
3. Bow is about a foot wider
4. Jib is relocated about a foot or so aft on the bow
5. Nets on the bow
6. Hard Dodger
7. Two solar pannels
8. Water maker
9. taller mast
10. boom located lower
11. Soft rear seats
12. Mack Pack
13. Mack Pack rails
And the list goes on. Tony said he missed the window for the northern trip so now he is going down to Baha to test things out.

Wow ! Did you see the boat ? Any photos ?
What was Tony logic on moving the jib back ? I guess if he has a taller rig, he won't lose sail room but sees an interesting decision.
Any insights as to when he will start building Telstars again ?
thanks for the update..

I do not know what he is up to over there but you might try calling.
He did say he moved the jib back to make more room for sail handling. That and the deck being about a foot wider there is pleanty of room to around the jib to the bobstay to hookup a spin or screacher even underway.
I will get some photos to post here next time I go out.

For those of us who are "future Telstar owners" pics and more info of the changes would be greatly appreciated... maybe some of this will wind up in production, when/if production resumes. My family and I spent some time on a Telstar 28 last July at PCI with Will - let's hope they go back into production for next year. The lack of a company website is really creating an info vacuum - maybe they could blog about the Baha trip?

Head on shot, how many changes can you count? I am past 6 just on the front.
