Where can I get my brackets galvanized ...

Some of the places that do powdercoating or chrome plating can galvanize as well. Also check the yellow pages and google it. I found these in Philadelphia. Try "galvanize" coupled with some local towns on google. Finally, this store carries many types of paints and coatings if you want to try doing it yourself - http://www.eastwood.com/. They specialize in automobile stuff, but a lot it can be for marine use also. I've bought many kinds of coatings from them. One note - "hot" galvanizing" is a lot better than "cold".

If the brackets have to be media (sand) blasted first, I have a cabinet here. Nothing bigger than about 30 x 24 inches. We leave for FL in about 3 weeks. You can find shops all over that can do it too. Google media blast or sand blast.

Dam Ron you're like an encyclopedia. : )
I have 8 brackets about 12" x 8" and 4 that are 32" x 8" (i have to measure these - im guessing) all out of half-inch stock. Want them hot dipped. I may take you up on your offer to use your beader. Thanks.

You shouldn't need them pre-treated if you're getting them galvanized. The process includes pre-cleaning with an acid bath.
Or at least: that's what happened to mine when I got them done last year. (In Scotland, so not much use you you I'm afraid ...)
Anyhow - I put them in rusty with bits of old coating still on them, and got them back beautifully galvanized. Photos on my blog:

The brackets look great. They are remarkably like mine, considering the model difference. i'm still looking for a shop but will hold off doing any work till i speak to them. Thanks!
