Is there a way to get a email updates once a day of any new post?

Probably... I just don't know the capabilities of the forum package yet. As soon as I find out, I'll let you know.

Any update on this and or some RSS capability to allow people to see Forum traffic without logging on ? I found it very useful on previous forum to stay abreast forum activity

I can see "" Notify me when a reply is posted" in posting screen and in control panel as default to my posts but not anything to allow broader email of every topic posted by others.
