What am I looking at? 28

I'm considering the purchase of a Telstar 28 and was told by the yard that, "he only area of concern is under the port amas at the forward hinge. The underside fiberglass structure is fractured but the hing seems to be intact." I have pictures and would be interested in getting an Owner's feedback on the scope of work that's entailed and should I be worried about rot. Obviously I'll get a full survey done but was looking for initial input so I can put more succinct questions to the Surveyor about what to look for.
