Travel Lift to Boat Stand
The plate was about 30" x 30" and had a 2x12 running under the center of it to spread the load from the head of the hydraulic jack.

Re: Travel Lift to Boat Stand
I am planning on removing my broken centerboard and replacing it by using lift straps and davits that can lift 12000 pounds. The manual provides information about the proper placement of the lift straps, but neither the manual or the forum has any information about the straps themselves. I found adequate straps that are 16 feet long. Does anyone have any idea if these will be long enough to go around the main hull and up far enough to be used on a davit? I tried to measure this using a rope, and it looks like it might work, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone has used this method to raise the boat out of the water for maintenance.
