Head to Holding Tank hose

Post by Cathyalan »

I have to replace the head to holding tank hose and am wondering if anybody has done this and what hose you have used.
I read an article that recommends Shields’ Series 148 Heavy-Duty Vinyl Hose.
I am also curious about Shield's Series 101 No-Odor Super Head Hose.
Coming from the head there is nearly a U bend in the hose to get it to the holding tank and from what I have read it seems the real heavy duty hoses won't bend like that.
Any experiences, please share.
Thanks
Alan

Head to Holding Tank hose

I changed my plumbing with the high grade hose. There were several bends with a radius that I could not get the hose to do. I used rigid pipe and elbows for the bends. There is some controversy about using rigid pipe. But I have had no problems.
