Here are two shots of the holding tank before it is installed. I always thought they just made a tank using the hull.

I knew they had a separate tank that was installed, from working on my boat. When I changed the plumbing around so that I could pumpout my boat’s holding tank, I saw that the tank was a separate molded component. I’ve also added an inspection port to the top of the holding tank, so that I can check the level of the tank easily. It can also be used for cleaning out the tank if necessary.
