Shorepower and the "Green Wire"

Post by Gene »

I saw an old inquiry here as to how the factory grounded the green wire on the Telstar 2's, with no replies. To those of you with shorepower as a factory option, 1. was there any sort of grounding plate mounted externally on the hull? 2. was the "green wire" connected to the DC ground? 3. or was the green wire simply deemed "grounded" when connected properly to the shorepower grounding connector?

Thanks for the photo and quick reply Ron. I was advised to put in a Guest grounding plate on the boat bottom for the green lead. What is the approximate location of this on your boat?

Cheers,
Rick
