They are about a foot shorter. Much better for our smallish cockpit.

I just spoke to H&L Marine Woodwork, who makes most of these custom tillers for most of the sailboats around. They will be shutting down the factory in about 5 months, but will make these last few for us. Anyone who eventually wants one had better order it now. Total cost should be around $70 including US 48 state shipping.

Hi Ron,

I've been wanting to bite the bullet on this one for awhile and I think the time is now. Let me know the total cost and where to send the check and I will facilitate that immediately. Thanks for staying on top of this.

best regards,

gary g.

Gary -

I'll need your shipping address to get the total price from H&L. It should be around $75 depending on how far you are from southern California.

I'll need a shipping address for anyone who wants one of these shorter tillers for the 28. I'm ordering 4 so far and I should have the exact cost for each within 2 or 3 days, but I'll be in Miami until Monday. The differences will be for shipping charges from California, and sales tax if you live there. You can pay the association either by check or paypal once I know the cost.

I expect to get the prices with shipping from H&L Marine Woodwork tomorrow (Friday). They should be under $70 apiece. I'll let each of you know how much you have to send me. If it's being shipped to California you'll have to pay sales tax as well. Paypal or a check are both OK, but you'll have to add 5% to the total for Paypal (that's their fee).

There will be no more tillers. H&L is shutting down soon.

OK - here's the breakdown -

Gary - $64.04
Steve - $64.04
Simon - $66.32 (includes sales tax).

I need the payments as soon as possible. If you prefer to use paypal, the id is TelstarCommodore@comcast.net. You'll have to add 5% for the fee.
Otherwise, please mail a check made out to the International Telstar Owners Assoc at

Ron

Is it too late to order one? I am in Maryland and I can send you an echeck today if it is still possible.

I'll give them a call on Monday. They're shutting down the factory now, but maybe they can do one more? Would you take one that was not varnished? They mentioned that that will be the first part of the company that they are closing.
