Short Tillers for the Telstar 28

Cathy / Alan -

I'll put together another order. If anyone else wants one, let me know within the next 5 days or so. I'm pretty sure they will ship only one is that's what we got.

Short Tillers for the Telstar 28

When I spoke to them last week they said that they would finish it up in maybe 2 or 3 days then ship it when the varish was dry. It's probably on a UPS truck now, if you haven't gotten it yet. This is the longest they've ever took to make one. Must have something to do with spring refitting and the number of orders. Most of them have been delivered within 10 days.

Short Tillers for the Telstar 28

H&L Marine Woodworking has decided to make the short tiller for the 28 into a production item. Part number is 1245F. You can order them from any dealer now. It will probably be a special order - I can't see West Maine stocking T2 tillers. List price will be $82.00, but the association as a dealer will get 40 percent off. We do not make a profit, so member cost would be $49.20. Drop shipping will average about $13.00 so final price will continue to be $63.00 . We've had over 10 of them made up already, so that must have been what caused this change.

I think we get 40 percent off everything they make. Could be a good deal for anyone rebuilding any of the Telstars. They specialize in custom woodworking - incuding whole interiors. Over 80,000 Catalina's have used their products.

It looks like I may order a few more tillers for the 28. Get back to me if you're interested.

I think I can still get the short tillers. Simon asked for one a few months ago too. Does anyone else want one? I'll give it a week and then order two of them. Simon - are your still in?

I'll need the shipping address for them to figure out the total cost. It should be around $65 or so. It's been around a year, so the price may have gone up a drop?

I'll need the shipping address to get the final price. So far it seems to be 3 tillers. Price should be about $65 + UPS shipping (probably around $10 extra).

My address is:

Steve Wooden
195 Airport Dr N
Summerland Key FL 33042

Thanks for doing this Ron. I think a shorter Tiller will provide me with greater room to move around the cockpit. At least I hope that is the case.
